£3 per person, for ages 4 and up.

Come along to a fun, relaxed introductory workshop about the magic of Sun Printing.

Sun printing is the process of using pretreated light sensitive paper to create exciting blue images using objects and plants. During the workshop participants will learn a brief history of the process, create their own sun prints and be able to take these home to use as they wish after the session (they make perfect greetings cards and gifts!). Some other materials will be provided for colouring your prints after they have dried. All of this will be explained and demonstrated in the session, no previous photographic experience required.

There will be two sessions running throughout the day, one starting at Midday and another starting at 2pm. Due to the size of the snug places will be limited so please turn up on time to avoid disappointment.

This is part of Sophie Sherwood’s Cosmos exhibition in the Tobacco Factory snug, which will be displayed on the walls during the workshop.
