OUR 5 ACRE FARM, BACKWELL.

WHERE DID IT START?  At Tobacco Factory Enterprises, our core aim is to be a model of social, environmental and economic sustainability. In early 2018, we decided to develop these values further by purchasing five acres of land near Backwell, just southwest of Bristol, and set about establishing our very own farm.

We grow following regenerative principles to produce nourishing food in a way that protects soils and biodiversity.

WHERE IS IT GOING?  Another of our passions is connecting with others – and reconnecting them with the land. We run numerous volunteering, community and youth focused events throughout the year; and in 2024 affirmed this as a mission of the farm by registering as a Community Interest Farm.

Some of the produce from our farm makes it to our North St store as well as within our fruit and veg boxes. But 5 Acre Farm does so much more than this! Events, workshops, talks and volunteering opportunities; a community interest working farm for all. Find out more below…
