Rob Carmier is a Bristol-based photographer and videographer.

Rob has spent much of the last eight years working with clients across the hospitality, charity and live music industries. He’s filmed and photographed chart-toppers and festival headliners, local heroes and plenty of pizzas. Rob has previously worked on commission for Oxfam and the RSPB, providing photography for national campaigns and contributing to the RSPB image library, whilst he also volunteers as a publicity officer for the RSPB’s Bristol Local Group. His work has appeared in Rock Sound Magazine, and been exhibited in the RWA.

To all of this, the calm and contemplative world of nature photography provides something of a perfect antithesis.

Like a lot of wildlife enthusiasts, he’s spent countless hours scouring fields, sitting in ditches and crouching in the undergrowth for no apparent reason. However, sometimes, just sometimes, patience pays off and something exciting makes an appearance. These photographs highlight just a few of Rob’s favourite moments and encounters, with the hope that you’ll get some enjoyment from them too.
