“I am inspired by rhythm, pattern and mood in encountered landscapes and hope to capture some of these essences in my work. I enjoy experimenting with colour and different media, but drawing is the foundation of my practice. Although my landscapes are semi-abstracted, I hope to retain a sense of place”.

Liane studied Fine Art in Bristol and has continued her practice in a variety of media since graduating. She has been involved in numerous exhibitions and has shown work in The Mall Galleries in London, The Victoria Gallery in Bath and the RWA in Bristol. She is now based in North Somerset and finds inspiration in rural and urban landscape, the natural world and portraiture.
