Katie began her career in New Orleans, where she played wash tub bass and piano in the streets and clubs of the French Quarter. In 2003 she formed the popular Alt-Country duo, Truckstop Honeymoon, touring internationally in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the US. She has put out three solo albums (two under the name “40 Watt Dreams”) and is currently touring as Katie West.
