A Few Good Movies is a community film club in the Tobacco Factory Snug. Films will all end with an open and relaxed discussion.

Join us in the Snug for a screening of Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999); a mockumentary black-comedy about a small town beauty pageant and the deadly lengths the contestants will take to secure the crown.

With an all star cast of Kirsten Dunst, Kirstie Alley, Denise Richards, Allison Janney, Brittany Murphy and Amy Adams in her first feature length film, Drop Dead Gorgeous took a departure from the teen rom-com tropes of the 90’s and earned it’s cult film status by focusing on young women trying to break free of their small town in the most wild and absurd ways.

It’s weird, it’s stylish and it’s dead fun!
