Contemporary Artist Ernma Catherine lives and works in Bristol. She Studied Fine Art and worked as a designer before moving to Provence in the South of France with her family. Inspired by the Mediterranean Sea and azure skies, she began her larger abstract work.

Emma works intuitively using mixed media, capturing the tranquility of the Earth, Sea and Moon. Layering, creating texture and using gold leaf, she focuses on the sense of awe and unknown that lies beneath the surface.

Recent exhibitions include her solo Exhibition at the Square Club in Berkeley Square, Roy’s Art Fair at the Oxo Tower London, and Bath Contemporary Art’s Fair.

She has recently painted one of the Unicorns that were created for the charity Leukaemia Care, which was chosen to stand at the gates of Ashton Court Mansion. Her commercial Art work and murals can be seen in various places such as the BBC’s series Industry, The Hideaway Restaurant and Clifton Motel. Her work can be found on her website and at Gallery Room 212.
