The Gin Bowlers are an exciting, entertaining live swing group based in Bristol with a sound of pre 1950s Swing, Gypsy & Jazz. Hammering drums, lively double bass and searing guitar licks form the basis of the band; with blistering solos from some of the regions best swing horn players. The vocal contrast of Joe Trudgeon’s husky, Waits-style delivery and Rachel Lawrence’s smooth & slick vocals make for an ever-changing, dynamic performance.
