About the exhibition
“In the beginning, God created man, but seeing him so feeble, He gave him the dog.” ~Alphonse Toussenel

Across time, artists from different cultures exalt the glory of this magnificent species in countless art forms. “In the name of dog(s)”, the artist’s first monotype print solo exhibition, is his interpretation of the sweet and intimate bonding between human and canine of today. 

The all-in-one illustrations/ drawings/ monotype prints capture the contagious cheeriness in dogs, these artworks are small bites of joy created to put smiles on people’s faces.

About the artist
Jeff was born and raised in Hong Kong. In 2021, He and his family, together with thousands of Hong Kong families left their home-city to another side of the world in search of freedom. Before the move, Jeff has10+ years of experience in graphic design & publications after graduating from School of Design in Hong Kong Polytechnic University. 

Captivated by an atmosphere that is obsessed with dogs, particularly here in Bristol, he decided to take a break from pursuing his career further and reignite his passion to create through making dog art in the most authentic manner. Since last year, he has been a regular trader showcasing his #cheerydogart in Tobacco Factory Sunday Market. He participated in the South Bristol Arts Trail 2022.
