Sunday nights are for good music and good company at Tobacco Factory.

Jody Prewett is a fingerstyle guitarist and songwriter who has released two acclaimed albums. Inspired by American folk and country as well as ambient music, latest release Places Beyond has received enthusiastic reviews from across the blogsphere and multiple radio plays including from Elizabeth Alker and Afrodeutsche on BBC radio 3 and also KEXP in the USA.

With guitar playing described by Fatea Magazine as “supple, melodic and quietly commanding”, expect a set of intimate ballads, dazzling instrumentals and carefully chosen covers. For fans of John Martyn and Richard Thompson.

Our Sunday live music sessions are all about rounding off the weekend the right way: great musicians, a drink in hand and a room full of familiar faces and new ones.

Music starts from 7pm and it’s completely free. No tickets, no fuss – just come down, find a spot and enjoy the evening with your local community.
