Have you ever wanted to try making silver jewellery? This beginners workshop is a brilliant introduction to the craft of jewellery making. Beth will guide participants through the stages of making a slim stackable silver ring using both modern and traditional hand tools.
You will cover:
– how to size a ring
– cutting and filing silver
– texturing
– shaping
– soldering
– polishing and finishing
Why not make a day of it?
Once you’re finished making your stacking ring, have a mooch around the Tobacco Factory Sunday Market and maybe enjoy some street food for lunch. Spaces are limited.

By prepaying and booking tickets for a workshop at the Tobacco Factory Sunday Market you agree to be bound by our Terms & Conditions (see below), which shall take effect immediately payment for a booking is received. Thank you!
Cancellations/Amendments – Payment is non-refundable within 7 days of the date of the workshop. Any amendments to the booking before this time, including transfers to an alternative workshop, will incur a £7 admin fee per ticket. Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop will not receive a refund of any amount. Cancellations made before this time will receive a refund minus a £7 admin fee per ticket refunded. If for any reason the Sunday Market has to cancel the workshop, you will be notified at the earliest possibility with an update on the situation and possible alternatives. If we refund tickets due to the workshop not going ahead then a full refund will be given.
Health and Safety/Conduct – A current risk assessment on all aspects of the workshop has been carried out and kept up to date. Workshop attendees must follow instructions given and not act in a way that would endanger themselves or others. If there are any concerns around safety or misbehaviour, you may be asked to leave the workshop before the end, no refund will be given and you will not be able to take the materials with you.
