Mark Brady is a self taught freelance artist working in acrylic and mixed media. These abstract works on paper are rich in colour and a vibrant response to the Bristol night skyline as seen from his Attic window during lockdown.
Matthew Pullara is an alumni of UWE and has been a practicing artist concentrating on portraiture and then still life since his graduation. This current exhibition is the culmination of an exploration into botanical watercolour kickstarted by courses at the Bristol Folk House and the University of Bristol Botanic Gardens. Matthew is continuing this interest in botanical work by undertaking the Society of Botanical Artists distance learning diploma in 2021/2. Of all of the work he has produced over the years he finds the delicate representation of these fascinating natural wonders in equal measures both the most challenging and rewarding subjects to paint.
