Megan Sinfield’s interest is in texture and tone and in finding beauty in unexpected places. She shows how something plain and ordinary can become beautiful through exploring the texture and quality of light.

Over lockdown she often walked through the tower blocks of Barton Hill and was struck by the way changes of light and mood transformed the buildings. Often considered eyesores, she wants to show the beauty and drama of these majestic giants in the sky.

We walk past such places every day and rarely notice the details, but art is created by looking and seeing something more.

Megan is a Bristol-based artist working in drawing and digital collage.
