Paul is a self-taught photographer working with both analogue and digital mediums. Photography has always been special for him and eight years of holding a camera has changed the way he sees the world. Photography has forced Paul to slow down, to challenge his own perceptions of beauty, to look at something familiar in a new way, and to recognise that even things that don’t change don’t remain the same.
Photography has pushed Paul to stay curious about the world around him. Through his work, he hopes to spark that same curiosity in others – to slow down, look deeper, and question the familiar.
You can find more of Paul’s work on his website www.suspendedperception.com or on his Instagram @paulcjobin.
