Pint of Science is an annual worldwide science festival which takes place every May and brings researchers to your local pub or cafe to share their scientific discoveries with you.

The three-day annual festival has grown astronomically since its inception in 2013 and involves over 25 countries and nearly 500 cities around the world.

SESSION 1 – changing the world by preventing infection: the science behind vaccine development

This event will explore how vaccines get approved for use and how new vaccines are tested. Specifically, we will be looking at the human challenge model of clinical trials which is a new and exciting way of testing if vaccines work.
