Learn how to make a beautiful pair of silver earrings in your style! This beginners level workshop is a brilliant introduction to the craft of jewellery making. Bethany May Silver will guide participants through the stages of making earrings using both modern and traditional hand tools. Suitable as a first workshop or as a follow on from a previous session. You will be provided with sterling silver earring components and learn how to curve and finish your own ear hooks.

You will cover:

  • making ear wire
  • cutting and filing silver
  • texturing
  • shaping
  • soldering
  • polishing and finishing

Not only will you learn something new in a fun, supportive and warm environment but you’ll come away with a beautiful piece of jewellery to treasure for a lifetime. Come and spend a cosy Sunday in the snug and get crafty.

By prepaying and booking tickets for a workshop at the Tobacco Factory Sunday Market you agree to be bound by our Terms & Conditions (see below), which shall take effect immediately payment for a booking is received. Thank you!

Payment All tickets for the workshop must be paid for in full prior to attending. Once payment has been made the receipt is confirmation of your tickets. All workshop attendees must have a paid ticket, any additional members of your group that are not taking part in the workshop will not be able to join you. They may wait in the Tobacco Factory Bar or look around the Sunday Market.

Cancellations/Amendments – Payment is non-refundable within 7 days of the date of the workshop. Any amendments to the booking before this time, including transfers to an alternative workshop, will incur a £7 admin fee per ticket. Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop will not receive a refund of any amount. Cancellations made before this time will receive a refund minus a £7 admin fee per ticket refunded. If for any reason the Sunday Market has to cancel the workshop, you will be notified at the earliest possibility with an update on the situation and possible alternatives. If we refund tickets due to the workshop not going ahead then a full refund will be given.

Health and Safety/Conduct – A current risk assessment on all aspects of the workshop has been carried out and kept up to date. Workshop attendees must follow instructions given and not act in a way that would endanger themselves or others. If there are any concerns around safety or misbehaviour, you may be asked to leave the workshop before the end, no refund will be given and you will not be able to take the materials with you.
